Every advancement begins with the question: “Is it feasible?”
Before the first system was developed, Sandmaster and CMSA Biel/Bienne conducted a feasibility study in the test laboratory to determine whether the surface treatment, traceability logging, and required process details for the dental implants could be implemented reliably and economically.
The tests confirmed the potential: the desired blasting pattern was achieved, and the requirements of the overall system were met.
It was thus clear that the overall system could be realized as requested by the customer. Sandmaster was able to responsibly transform this challenge into an industrial solution.

Nearly 20 years ago, Sandmaster developed a novel control and software architecture for this purpose, featuring a barcode scanner, USB connectivity, and process logging.
Since then, every batch, every implant, and every process step has been fully documented. A concept that was visionary back then and is now standard practice.
